Triggering a Manual Sync

Sometimes you need data updated right now, without waiting for the next scheduled sync.

How to Trigger

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Find the sync you want to run
  3. Click the Sync Now button
  4. Wait for the sync to complete

When to Use Manual Sync

  • After making changes in your source system
  • Before an important meeting or report
  • When testing a new sync configuration
  • If a scheduled sync was missed

What Happens

When you trigger a manual sync:

  1. TableSync fetches the latest data from your source
  2. Records are compared to existing Airtable data
  3. New records are created, existing ones are updated
  4. Sync status and record count are updated

Notes

  • Manual syncs count toward your monthly limit
  • You can trigger a sync anytime, even between scheduled runs
  • Multiple people can trigger syncs - they queue up if one is running
  • The sync log shows details of what was synced
