Triggering a Manual Sync
Sometimes you need data updated right now, without waiting for the next scheduled sync.
How to Trigger
- Go to your Dashboard
- Find the sync you want to run
- Click the Sync Now button
- Wait for the sync to complete
When to Use Manual Sync
- After making changes in your source system
- Before an important meeting or report
- When testing a new sync configuration
- If a scheduled sync was missed
What Happens
When you trigger a manual sync:
- TableSync fetches the latest data from your source
- Records are compared to existing Airtable data
- New records are created, existing ones are updated
- Sync status and record count are updated
Notes
- Manual syncs count toward your monthly limit
- You can trigger a sync anytime, even between scheduled runs
- Multiple people can trigger syncs - they queue up if one is running
- The sync log shows details of what was synced
